![]() Sajuuk was found to open the Great Network of Hyperspace Gates. The discovery was more than anyone could expect. ![]() Hiigarans discovered the Eye of Aarran and later on found that it could be opened using Sajuuk. Sajuuk was found to be the only ship that could destroy the Planet Killers sent by Makaan during the Siege of Hiigara, via its Main Cannon.Īfter the Vaygr War, Sajuuk was found also to be a key, just like the Progenitor Dreadnaught was a key to Balcora Gate. Because Karan was directly integrated into the Pride's Hyperspace Core, transferring her from it to Sajuuk rendered the Mothership useless – constructing and integrating a new neuronic operator would take far too much time and Hiigara was in danger. It's also implied by Bentus that the ship was named after a Progenitor, who was also called Sajuuk, the one who created the Three Cores.Īfter defeating Makaan, the Hiigarans abandoned the Pride of Hiigara in order to unite the Three Hyperspace Cores and awaken Sajuuk. The warship is heavily implied to be the inspiration for the deity Sajuuk found in the mythology of numerous races including the Hiigarans. Its existence was kept unknown for several centuries, before it was re-discovered by the Vaygr, and later, the Hiigarans. The ship was sealed away in Balcora, the black hole cluster at the center of the Galaxy. The Planet Killer is visually very similar to concept art of the cut T-MAT race.Sajuuk is a legendary starship created by the Progenitors. At the time of the Homeworld War, it fielded 137 Carriers amongst many other ships. Although the Planet Killer platforms themselves were not involved in the burning of Kharak, it is possible that the missiles they launched were based on the same weapon that the Taiidan Empire used at that time, known as a Low Orbit Atmosphere Deprivation Weapon. The Taiidan Imperial Navy was the space forces of the Taiidan Empire. ![]() Based on its name, it can be assumed that the missiles are intended to be of the type that destroys a planet. It is unclear and unknown as to whether Planet Killers are only capable of launching Low Orbit Atmosphere Deprivation Weapons, or whether the ship can be used to launch any pre-constructed missile at planets, given that the ship only possesses a launching bay to launch payloads. However, Fleet Intelligence hints that the hull shows traces of being created by the Bentusi. It is also unknown where the Vaygr obtained these ships from. There is no known record that states who created the Planet Killer. However, the missiles are very fragile and can be easily destroyed. ![]() Depending on what the missile contains, they can be ignited in the atmosphere, causing massive destruction on the planet's surface: in the case where a planet might have defences nearby, many are launched to ensure that one will land a hit. The power of the Planet Killer is that it can launch pre-constructed missiles which are fired at a nearby planet. However, it does have very high armor, able to defend itself from even the strongest of vessels: only the Phased Cannon Array mounted to Sajuuk is strong enough to penetrate the armor and destroy them. 'The Vaygr Supercarrier (also known as the Agamemnon or Big Red or Abandon All Hope), was the concept for a Vaygr flagship that made it into existence in the Alpha build of Homeworld 2, and appears as a derelict in the final game. The ship possesses no weapons that can allow it to defend itself from attack. The Planet Killer is a large, starfish designed ship that appears in the final mission during the siege of Hiigara in Homeworld 2. ![]()
